For general education only. This information does not diagnose a condition or replace medical advice. Your provider will determine which evaluation or treatment is appropriate for you.

Begin with what matters to you

Healthy aging is about supporting health and function over time, not promising to reverse aging. Your goals might include maintaining strength, sleeping better, staying socially connected, or managing an existing condition.

A useful care conversation begins with those priorities and your current health, rather than a list of products or a promise of extra years.

Build practical foundations

Regular physical activity, nutritious food, adequate sleep, and avoiding tobacco are important foundations. The best starting point is a routine that fits your circumstances and can be maintained.

Ask your provider about activity that is appropriate for your health and any physical limitations. Strength and balance activities may be part of an individual plan.

Keep prevention in view

Screenings, vaccinations, and management of blood pressure or other established risks remain important. Which preventive services you need depends on age, health history, and other factors.

Bring a list of medicines and supplements so your provider can review potential interactions and whether each remains useful.

Be thoughtful about new treatments

A product described as a longevity treatment is not automatically proven to extend life or prevent disease. Ask whether evidence comes from studies in humans, what outcomes were measured, and what is still uncertain.

Discuss approval status, risks, and alternatives before considering a prescription or supplement. No treatment can guarantee longer life or a particular level of energy.

Questions to bring.

  • Which health priorities should I focus on first?
  • Are my screenings and vaccinations up to date?
  • What human evidence supports this treatment?
  • Could my current medicines or supplements interact?
